2025 Summer Art Camp – Week 6 – Book Making With Terri Melia Hamlin!

Week 6 – This is a series Camp Full Week Only

Special Guest Instructor: Terri Melia Hamlin

In this art camp, Terri will lead the students through the process of writing and illustrating their own children’s books. She will help them make their stories come alive with illustrations! The students will also learn how to hand bind their stories, creating a hard bound book.

Each student will also receive a copy of Terri’s first children’s book, “The Cliff”.

Terri Melia Hamlin is an illustrator, working in the Dayton area since the mid 1980’s. In the last several years, she has turned her attention to illustrating children’s books and is currently working on her 5th book.

Join us at Pinspiration Dayton for an art camp that’s sure to entertain your little ones!

Over the summer, we’re offering nine weeks of themed art camps. Each week has a new theme, so your child can enjoy multiple sessions and walk away with an armful of creations, learned techniques, and long-lasting memories.

Drop them at Pinspiration Dayton and let their creativity run wild. Crafting is our specialty, and we love being an outlet for the kids to explore their inner creativity. We’ll explore different mediums, such as paint, inks, adhesives, etc., along with various techniques. We dive into different projects each day, making each day unique and fun. Kids will take home multiple crafts every day Plus a little snack!! Their minds are sure to be engaged the entire time!

The camp runs Wednesday-Friday from 1:00pm-4pm. Choose 1 day for $49+tax per Child or all three days for a discounted rate of $135+tax per child. This includes a snack, daily camp care and all necessary tools and supplies to have a creative time! 

Seats are limited, registration is required (They MUST be school aged 7-12 years of age to attend) All ticket sales are final *NO REFUNDS. If the event is missed, we will gladly provide a make-up day(s), pending availability or take home craft bag.

We encourage your child to bring a labeled water bottle to enjoy throughout their time.
